Why Music for Changemakers?

Resources are needed by so many groups… we selected a few of our favorite Changemakers and decided to help out. Luna Nueva Wellness Collective’s Holly & Luanda, along with our SisSTARS in Strength + Beauty Tabletalks, are raising $1111 for Changemakers on the local, national and international scene. Our Changemakers are: Costanoan Indian Research, Grassroots Law Project and Fazenda de Esperança Philippines. Email Ticket information at sbtabletalks@gmail.com. We’ll let you know how to donate $11 – $111 for these awesome organizations. Let’s enjoy our concert together!

Can’t attend our concert, but you want to still donate? Donate directly to these Changemakers at their websites below.

OUR CHANGEMAKERS:

Costanoan Indian Research: Indian Canyon, opened up by Elder Ann-Marie Sayers and her daughter, Kanyon Sayer-Roods, is the only federally recognized “Indian Country” between Sonoma and Santa Barbara. It is a safe haven and sovereign land for all Indigenous peoples in need of land for ceremony and education. https://indiancanyonlife.org/

Grassroots Law Project: Founded by Shaun King & Lee Merritt, works to radically transform policing and justice in America. Merging grassroots organizing and legal expertise they address the failures of the system, especially police abuse and murders in the Black community. https://www.grassrootslaw.org

Fazenda de Esperança Philippines: This drug and alcohol rehabilitation farm was affected by the recent typhoons in Masbate, Philippines. There’s heavy damage to their living quarters and the water pump, which provides drinking water and supplies their vegetable and medicinal garden. https://fazendadaesperancaphilippines.com/
